2025 Distinguished Psychologist
35+ Years Helping Families
Hi, I'm Dr. Jeff, a psychologist with over 35 years of experience and more than 40,000 clinical hours working with children, teens, adults, and families.
I'm honored to have received the 2025 Distinguished Psychologist Award from Psychology Network. I deeply value helping clients understand why they are struggling and how to move forward in real, practical ways.

While I have seen a lot over the years, I don't approach this work as someone who has it all figured out. Every person and every family is different. I value continuing to learn so I can meet each situation with fresh eyes and practical insight.

My office is located in Exton, Pennsylvania, and I work with children, teens, adults, and families throughout Chester County, including West Chester, Downingtown, Malvern, Chester Springs, and surrounding communities.

My Approach

My focus is on helping clients get unstuck and gain new tools and skills to move forward.

Many of the individuals I work with are trying, but something is getting in their way. They may overthink, avoid challenges, shut down under pressure, or feel frustrated with themselves for not following through.

In our work together, I use proven, evidence-based methods—but translate them into practical language and strategies to help:

-
Manage anxious and racing thoughts
-
Navigate overwhelming situations without shutting down
-
Build confidence by taking manageable steps forward
-
Handle frustration without giving up
-
Feel more in control of their emotions and behavior

My goal isn't just to help people feel better. It's to help them function better in real life. This means at school, at home, at work, and in relationships.

Teaching and Training

In addition to my direct clinical work, I've trained thousands of mental health professionals through organizations such as the American Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, PESI, ADDitude/WebMD, and the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists.

These experiences continue to sharpen my thinking and my work, grounded in what is both effective and practical.

What Parents Often Tell Me:

“He’s finally taking steps again.”
“She’s not shutting down like before.”
“This is the first time something is actually helping.”
